  • Services: refers to the courier and logistics services offered by DCL through the web or mobile application.
  • Delivery Managers: refers to delivery personnel contracted by DCL.
  • Orders: refers to the package or shipment requested by a user for delivery.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you:

  1. Acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
  2. Confirm you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

3. Account Registration

  1. User Account: Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep their account details up-to-date.
  2. Delivery Managers’ Account: Delivery Managers must meet all requirements set by the company, including but not limited to valid identification, licensing, and background checks.
  3. Admin Account: Admin access is restricted to authorized personnel appointed by the company.
  4. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity under the account will be considered the responsibility of the account holder.

4. Use of Services

  1. Users agree to provide accurate pickup and delivery details when placing orders.
  2. The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders if the details provided are incomplete or fraudulent.
  3. Delivery Managers are expected to handle packages with care and deliver them promptly.
  4. The company is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather, or technical issues.

5. Prohibited Items

Users are prohibited from sending the following items:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Perishable goods for future delivery
  • Illegal substances
  • Weapons or firearms
  • All items prohibited by law

The company reserves the right to inspect packages if there is suspicion of prohibited items.

6. Pricing and Payment

  1. Pricing: Prices for delivery services are determined based on distance, weight, nature of the package, and delivery type. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  2. Payment: Users must pay in full for services rendered. Payment methods include credit/debit cards, mobile payments, or other approved methods.
  3. Refunds: Refunds are only issued under specific circumstances, such as service cancellation by the company or non-performance.

7. Liability and Insurance

  1. The company is not liable for:
    • Damages caused by improper packaging.
    • Delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
    • Losses caused by incorrect address information provided by the user.
  2. Insurance for high-value packages must be arranged by the user. The company provides limited liability for lost or damaged items.

8. Termination

  1. The company reserves the right to terminate accounts or restrict access to services if:
    • Users violate these terms.
    • Fraudulent activity is detected.
    • There is non-payment for services rendered.
  2. Users may terminate their accounts at any time by notifying the company in writing.

9. Privacy Policy

All user data is handled per our Privacy Policy to ensure confidentiality and protection of personal information.

10. Dispute Resolution

  1. In case of disputes, users must first contact the company’s customer service for resolution.
  2. If unresolved, disputes will be handled through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the company operates.

11. Changes to Terms

The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or any other means considered appropriate for notification. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any legal action or proceeding must be filed in the appropriate courts within this jurisdiction.
